Local business

Jay Bob’s Country Kitchen

Earlier this month Jay Bob’s Country Kitchen rebranded from the Chuckwagon.

The most notable change (besides the name) is their transition from a buffet to a family-style meat and three table service.

Several residents took to social media to express concerns after their experiences at the Chuckwagon.

The owner responded to one review on Google with:

Thanks for your review, however we listened to our customers, went to table service for lunch and family style service for dinner. And the 99 surveys we have compiled were fantastic. I realize you may not have been pleased with our service and we are indeed sorry. However, we have worked hard to launch the new restaurant service, menu and trained our new and existing personnel.

Here is their analysis of a survey ran on 99 dinner quests days after opening.

Check them out here.

Nashville in the news

Blowouts, flats, bursts, and punctures. These are on the minds of every person driving in and out of Nashville. Last week’s snow has again created significant potholes that are wreaking havoc on cars. Work has begun to fill these holes fast. Just do your best to travel at safe distance behind the car in front of you and keep your eyes on the road (especially the parts where the road is missing).

2023 flight with most turbulence. Nashville International Airport flights to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (North Carolina) experienced the most turbulence on average (reported by USA TODAY).

Another musician bar. Luke Combs will join the list of musicians with a bar in Nashville. How many are we at now? 1, 2, 4, … I’ve lost count.
