🐶 Dinner with a dog

Local Joe’s Cafe is partnering with the Mount Juliet Animal Shelter to raise money for the shelter.

Local Joes’s Cafe will donate 10% of proceeds to the shelter for all meals sold on Wednesday, December 13th between 4 - 7:30 pm.

Plus, MJ Animal Shelter will be there with several of their pups who are up for adoption.

Your bellies will be filled and your hearts will melt.

Local Joe’s is located at 2037 North Mount Juliet Road.

Hope to see you there. 👋

🌲 Sustainable tree recycling

We wanted to share this early for everyone to make note of it. Rockwood Recycling is sustainably recycling Christmas trees again.

They not only turn the trees into mulch, they also make a donation to a local charity. Over the past couple of years, they’ve donated to a local non-profit that aided adults with autism and the Wilson County Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

This year they are donating to the FCA as well as the pregnancy center of Wilson County.

Mulch from the trees are distributed throughout the community in flower beds, around trees, and are used to enrich the soil across Wilson County.

Drop your Christmas tree off at 510 Hartmann Drive in Lebanon from December 25 to January 8. Please remember to remove all ornaments and lights.
