Neighborhood speeders

Sadly, speeding in neighborhoods is the main reason for calls to Mt Juliet police. Residents are frustrated with speeders and distracted drivers. Some neighborhoods request police presence while others are petitioning to install speed humps and radars.

The Mt Juliet police are aware of the problem and are preparing a plan to tackle the problem.

Sherry’s Hope attracts thousands from Lebanon to fight cancer

Sherry’s Hope is a touching story that’s turned into a huge fundraiser to fight cancer.

Zoo babies

I love taking my family to the zoo. And now there are two new faces to see. This past week the zoo welcomed a clouded leopard cub and a banded palm civet kit. You might be lucky and spot them at the veterinary center.

Cooler temperatures are headed our way

There is a cold front approaching. It will bring rain and much colder temperatures with it. WSMV.com reports the front will hit us this week and the following weeks will be highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. Should be a nice change from these 80s.
