Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope you’re enjoying time with friends and family.

We just finished watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade

Well keep this short!

Thanks to everyone who completed the What does Wilson County eat for Thanksgiving? Survey

And the results are in:

Unsurprisingly, Turkey 🦃 was the favorite with 83% of the votes. Then ham.

And the top three sides:

1. Mashed potatoes with and without gravy

2. Green bean casserole

3. Sweet potato casserole

Stuffing was mentioned a couple of times but didn’t make it into the top 3.

And to my dismay, 67% must have cranberry sauce on their Thanksgiving plate!

A side that we must try is deviled eggs with an olive on top.

And now for dessert, pumpkin desserts are number one followed closely by pecan and fudge pies.
