Nolensville Headed to Little League World Series ⚾️ 

Nolensville beat Alabama, lost to Georgia, beat South Carolina, beat Virginia, and then re-faced and beat Georgia. And this past Tuesday, they beat Florida sending them to the mecca of baseball, The Little League World Series.

Sam is kind of a big deal ⚽️ 

Sam Surridge will make his debut on the field soon for Nashville SC. Nashville stole Sam away Premier League side Nottingham Forest. Well, stole him away for $6.4 million.

Hopefully, he can help them tie together a couple of wins.

Watch your toes 🐟️ 

A fisherman caught a 74-pound buffalo fish out of Percy Priest Lake this week. 74 pounds! That’s more than an average Golden Retriever.

If you’re not familiar with a buffalo fish, it’s a bottom-feeding fish with a large projecting mouth (similar to a Coi fish).

Mullet

An Mt Juliet second grader ranked in the top 25 in the country for the best mullet. You heard that right. There’s a second grader marching around town with a better hairstyle than you.

Honestly, it’s an impressive mullet. I’m a bit jealous.

💰️ Someone in Gallatin won 1 million big ones

That’s right! One of our neighbors struck it rich in the lottery. Maybe they’ll share a little bit with us. 🤞

We’ll do it

The City of Lebanon is taking the counting of the special census into its own hands. Paul Corder, Lebanon Planning Director, shared that the plan spurred due to the cost proposed by the United States Census Bureau.

They will start as early as September.
