CIVIL NEWS
🚌 Bus delays plague first day of school in Wilson County
Buses were an hour late, kids missed their buses, and not many parents knew what was going on. And unfortunately some bus drivers are driving two shifts (if you want to drive, see below).
Several days later and most buses are arriving at their pickup spots on time and delivering kids to school on time.
🚌 Wilson county schools need you
Wilson County is seeing record numbers of students. And they need more bus drivers to lighten the load for others.
If you’re interested in driving a bus for Wilson County schools this year, please reach out to Kenny Hardaway.
🦸 Hallway Hero Project
The Hallway Hero Project is a group of men and women who lend helping eye throughout the school day. They volunteer to walk the campus during the day to ensure nothing is out of the ordinary.
If you’re interested in volunteering, please check out their website.
🐜 don’t we have enough already
So, fire ants are in their way. How do we stop them? Why? These are all questions we’re asking ourselves. Aren’t you too?
But seriously here they come.
